Preparation Courses for the UMAT Test
UMAT Prep Course Training
HOW is PREMED UMAT Prep course different to other UMAT Prep Courses?
PREMED's UMAT preparation course is distinguished by the multitude of UMAT Section I and
UMAT Section II practice questions in the form of full-length trial tests, the SUPERKEENEYE
UMAT Section 3 computer training program, as well as specialist support for the UMAT and health science interviews.
The Perfect UMAT Prep course for UMAT consists of a two-day clinic, with the first day focusing on UMAT preparation and the
second day sharpening the students' interpersonal skills for the interview.
PREMED's Online UMAT Prep, offers an alternative UMAT preparation approach to its students who may be unable to attend a two day clinic due to their location or other circumstances.
PREMED clinics will teach students a multitude of life skills, will boost confidence and self-esteem and will impact on each student's understanding uniquely. Our UMAT preparation course will allow the student to take a proactive approach in reaching the first step towards their careers. Become excited about the
health science course you wish to gain entrance to, and work with us towards fulfilling your dream!
How to prepare for the UMAT
The student must uphold careful time management and prioritisation.
- Though school exams and assignments take up much time and attention, the student cannot underestimate the significance of the UMAT for entry into their desired health science course.
- However it is not impossible for UMAT candidates to perform well in the UMAT without undertaking a preparation course. It is simply a lot harder to prepare for the UMAT which has only a few UMAT type questions available to UMAT candidates.
- The UMAT practice questions that are provided in the UMAT InfoBook are few and can not provide the UMAT candidate with enough practice for the UMAT.
- The UMAT is a skills-based test. Section One of the UMAT examines logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Section Two of the UMAT examines the UMAT candidates interpersonal skills. Section Three of the UMAT assesses the UMAT candidate’s non-verbal reasoning.
Each student possesses these skills to some degree and the UMAT aims to rank the students accordingly. However the UMAT candidate can be prepared for this method of assessment of the UMAT through constant familiarisation with similarly structured questions.
